what is
reflexology?
Reflexology is a therapeutic practice that involves applying pressure to specific points on the feet, hands, or ears. These points correspond to different organs and systems in the body, promoting relaxation and healing.
By stimulating these reflex points, reflexology aims to improve overall health and well-being, relieve stress, and enhance circulation. It is often used as a complementary therapy alongside traditional medical treatments.
What to expect at a reflexology session
If you're new to reflexology, the idea of the unknown can feel overwhelming, so here's what you can expect!
You'll be welcomed into a warm, comfortable space where you can relax and leave the stresses of the outside world behind, free from judgment.
During your first session, we'll have a brief discussion about your medical history at your discretion. This is to assess your current health which will allow me to provide an effective treatment, intuitively focusing more on the necessary areas.
The treatment itself typically lasts about 50 minutes, and after I will share my observations and any insights I’ve gained.
Additionally I will provide aftercare advice and personalised lifestyle recommendations to help you stay on track.
If you choose to continue with reflexology, we can develop a treatment plan with gradual, sustainable changes each session, supporting your overall well-being alongside the benefits of the therapy.
